Live Poetry 1st Presentation
My poetry is written to resonate deep within the individual, awakening intrinsic faculties of interest, creativity and of course love. Poetry contains deep within the magic walls of letters and meaning, the power to lift the human spirit, inspire the creative soul and move the individual from where they are, to a new more interesting and profound horizon.
We live in the age of the New Millennium; this is a time for a deeper understanding and comprehension of our human condition. The paradigm has moved forward and up from “What we have , to Who we are”. These are the new questions of the unconscious mind, which is a shifting tide across the world.
C-19, I believe, will accelerate this need for deeper meaning and understanding within whole societies and nations. My poetry is a contribution to support, assist and inspire the budding new world of
‘soul understanding´ in mankind. Liam -

Poetic Manifesto:
As a creative writer, a poet and author, I feel my readers require a clear understanding and insight into my intentions, motives.
New Millennium Poetry, Volumes 1-3 is a Magnus Opus of writing which springs from the idea that with this new millennium, across a broad spectrum of the worlds’ population, an awakening of consciousness is occurring.
A paradigm change from egocentric materialism to a modern paradigm of soul awareness.
Expressing itself in social awareness, responsibility and an awakening to the spiritual, invisible reality of all aspects, of all life on earth.
This invisible world has been for thousands of years the genres of religion. Different religions, different cultures, different representations of one common invisible spiritual reality.
“New Millennium Poetry “, is a collection of poems covering aspects of our human condition. Written irrespective of colour, race or creed.
The common ground is that most poems explore in simple expressive ways, questions that are common to us all, seeking answers, common to us all.
Poetry is an interesting way to respond to soliloquies concerning one’s personal quest to understand life.
The truth is, a poem will only awake within the thinking of its reader if the content, however unconscious, is already present. When a poem resonates with its reader, the reader’s intuitive response expresses what is ready to become conscious.
To greater and lesser degrees, an audience of readers will intuitively respond to the content of these poems in their search and need to resolve meaning.

Poetry for the new Millennium
An audible and literary experience
This work was drawn from a larger body of writing which has steadily grown over the last seven years.
That initial poem “A Mid-Summer’s Day” happened outside of Kassel under an apple tree and captured the moment in a way which startled me. It’s simplicity yet vivid authenticity was a true Inspiration to continue. A complete piece of work like “The Forest” simple, unabridged & true appeared across my page after that walk through a Bavarian Forest.
Poetry can be fickle, yet I’ve been drawn back again and again to this creativity.
In odd moments an idea, word or thought lodges in my imagination, from whence with a little focus, persistence and reflection, the germ of a poem takes on its own life.
Yes, it’s like anything we do, give it your mental energy and whatever it is will grow.
Social Media has grown alongside my efforts, where I’ve posted contributions at regular intervals. It’s largely thanks to this active and an interested community of poetry lovers that I was encouraged to take a step further and publish. Liam -

A Star was Born
by Liam
It was in twilight far beyond
A shooting star it’s place had found
It landed near whilst on my path
To find the start of a life filled dream,
In which joy, love and free felt true
Would live in peace, the dove,
you too
Still spinning around inside my brain
Long after, having gone to bed
To position this cosmic shooting flash
Within my wilderness of chaos, of dread
This star stole, my mind that night
Returned with it to weave and find
The source of light, of peace, of mind
We crossed an ocean called sanity
We climbed a mountain called doubt
We gazed amazed, then to behold
The waking thoughts of my newborn day
The light had found in me a way
Of being the source from whence Love flows
Of being alive in all we know
Of life, a dream grown in starlights womb
Of becoming the truth, being the greatest of
Whom!
Sublime by Liam
Blue, all blue and green the growth
It’s soul, all soul the singing worlds’ response
I’ve heard across the oceans thundering
Above the forests whispering
Sweet voices, audible alone to the breeze
Fine-tunes blown on awareness
Capture my attention initiate the intent
To stretch forward
Arms open to embrace and inhale
This moment of inspiration, this instant of life
We are this, which we perceive
Our colors change too with each awakening
As flowers, we bring wonder to the world
Bird song, bringing joy to this day
Enhancing the way I perceive my wealth
An entity among the Myriads which life has brought forth today
reminding myself, it’s but a dash through time
Till again we sigh, we become sublime.
Falling in Love
by Liam
You have loved life
Within this scene the colors
Unraveling to your heartbeat
When I was touched by it
My chest bunched up with a thumping beat
My excitement became ecstasy which spun away on rationality
This madness spoke in wild radiant colors too
Thoughts scattered, blown birds lifted high on thermals of excitement
These entered the circle of your energetic radiance
It’s beautiful what you do with me
Alone moonbeams on your skin
I feel, through the reflection in your eyes
Could it be?
Should it be?
I’m becoming what you already have achieved.
Whisperer
by Liam
Dare you believe
the whisperer in your ear
that you are special,
that you are meaningful,
that one day
you too will change
The world as well
It’s you, you see
Who is the one listening
Who will change everything
Who will continue whispering
Be It
by Liam
True, love creates its own explanations Where ever it ignites
Love is completely unambiguous as it burns away the superficiality and splith of my character
We experience love
We become better beings
When you are but a drop which overflow’th in this ocean
Love feels the ocean surging within that drop
This realization gives love its omnipotence
Waiting patiently to embrace the wish of the beautiful being
We are, you are, I am
Can you possibly contain love?
Can you ever understand love?
Could you explain love?
Why bother,
Simply Be It. -

Appraisal of the new book:
Touching someone’s soul, or heart, with words is an art that the author succeeds at with child’s play. Words your eyes read, the heart hears, that speak directly to the soul, touching our inexhaustible potential.
In many facets and nuances, you are taken on an amazing journey into your inner self, words become a mirror, a vehicle to the intrinsic, spiritual world enabling you to visualize the depths of human nature, inspire the deepest qualities in oneself and inherent everyone.
This poetry enables you to become aware of deep questions, at times inviting you to linger, to look at new doors and perspectives of life and death. It’s uniquely artistic, a masterpiece of creativity and spirituality.

Poetry Reading Live
The Imminent
In the frailty of this uncertain moment.
between the draw of a breath
The uncertain thud of my heart .
Me In waves I wonder why.
Why should it be I?
I who caught the chill.
The dark death filled thrill of disease.
It’s Inevitability, my fragility.
This uncertain momentary me.
Between the telephone calls.
Between the doctors stalled look.
Between the jagged stabs of self-inflicted pity.
I wonder-where my soul
Will go, when my body
Turns the key
Turns away from life to die.
To let me go
To let me fly
To let infinity fill the view
To touch the eternity I once knew.
Loved shared laughed and grew.
From a lad from the family that made so glad, happy too.
Those days abundant care filled free.
Returns the chill to the now, of me.
Imminent this immortality.

Poetry: The Articulation of a Face
by Liam
“Let the soul speak with the silent articulation of a face.” Rumi
Upon the edge of breaking dawn
I reach out to the waiting morn
“Why am I? Who am I? What am I?”
The silent articulation in
Gods quiet space Echoes,
reverberates in lines across my aging face
Each smile captured
Each laughing moment brings to life
Obliterates the pain the strife
Ripples across an endless sea
These questions lines of poetry
Remind my soul to remember thee
The beginning
The end
The now
Be free
Poetry: Butterflies
by Liam
When she looks at you
Listen up, for those
Deep eyes speak sweet
Words of silent selflessness
Each a butterfly
Alone though the colours, the movements take
My gaze to intoxication
Not my thoughts
My emotional wings take flight feelings
Lifting me peacefully on the intention of the moment
Eyes, gaze, the look
Mesmerize
Quotation
An ILLUISION is a distorted perception of reality
“Half full or half empty is not the illusion, it’s the glass.”
“The Light at the end of the tunnel is not the illusion, it’s the tunnel.”
“Every cloud has a silver lining is not the illusion, it’s the cloud.”
Poetry: One to Eight
by Liam
The one Divine permeates the pattern
Man and Woman create the third which crawling cries
Four corners build the framework of the dwelling
These five senses connect you with a driving mind
The six directions bind you with a life to strive for
Be as clear today as you are in all seven
Be to heaven as you appear
with God innate
Poetry: Phoenix
by Liam
What should I do but participate in love
The troubles the turmoil and the pain
Gain nought for this flame melts
It’s from those ashes
Dusty and grey that the Phoenix of Love rises
Born from shame we emerge anew Glowing in the refractive glance
Of Gods own giving
Touch feels free of what was
Intimate integral emancipated in this adventure of now
Me is immaterial, it’s about the ecstatic emulsion of Heaven and now
Whipped up in waves of intensity
Turning towards the source
Happy just because it’s you
Found free alive, in me.
Poetry: Where Light Breaks
by Liam
So much talk
So many lines
Scribbled, written, scrawled
About the manifest, about the mystery
This is the oneness
We are, in the beginning
We are, going to in the end
Each, with everything in between
Dripping, between the fingers of my clenched glove
Licking blood from the wound of my Love
Those days months, slaves to movement of the moon
Set me free
Let me be
Where light breaks me apart scattering
Thoughts of tomorrow
Creating moments of inspiration happiness and poetry for today. -
Poetry LIVE: A reading of as yet unpublished poetry by the author, Liam
Live Poetry Reading Text
Poetry: Enough
My primary, initial and most valuable relationship
Is neither you, nor them or the other
This love affair is invisible, quiet and immersive
It’s my responsibility to care, love and support myself
It’s the whisperer of encouragement in moments of doubt
It’s the shine of a smile after
we have danced about
It’s the warm recognition
Both me and me are enough
Enough to fill the day with warm well done
Enough to laugh in the shining sun
Enough to know this foundation is a fountain of who
Else can grow and learn this too.
Poetry: My Perception
by Liam
Each day sends me a teacher
My eyes, that seeing is not all sight
My words, that talking could contribute to understanding
My deeds, that doing aught be helping
Perception is also communication
With the Devine
Where life, manifold and rich
Shares its mystery with my depth of awareness
It’s in the quietude of silence though
In the stillness of peace
I lose the self within the ocean
Afloat, a swimming in me
I become the drop you see
I become the wet you touch
I think these thoughts of you so much.
Poetry: The Dialog
by Liam
The Teacher spoke, “You friend, are infinitely more than you think.”
Yet, said I ,” This dust-filled day leaves me parched.”
“Drink not with your sight, refresh your thoughts in a quiet conversation with God.”
So closing my eyes, my mind was quickened by the fountainhead.
“The dust of today brings the dew of a new morning.”
Thinking about it, I smile realizing how simple it is to go from despair to joy.
This new thought creating a new emotion.
Poetry: The Apparel of Words
by Liam
Words are never ever wasted
They come from that invisible sea
From which those thirsty drink
Who on the journey becomes parched for wisdom?
Words which are the apparel of thoughts
Thoughts that are the substance of God
Giving me meaning
Enabling me to recognize universally
The interconnectedness we experience
While on the way home
On the back to where we were
Before being born.
Poem: Evening Rest
Evening Rest
As this day now leaves to lie,
Rays once warm they fill the sky.
In colors changing to heaven bright.
The blues to hues of reds, the white the golden might.
Of a day departed and with me too.
One more moment of bliss complete.
Of touch and love of fleeting happy you.
Yes, you an angel dancing high.
Dancing clouds you cross my eye.
Your horizon lies with me this day.
You fill the night with a starry sky,
with sparks,
with thoughts,
with dreams,
with intervening flashes we unite.
Build a picture, a cosmology,
A heaven, a party book of light.
Closing now my eyes to sleep
The wonder in my breast I’ll keep.
Till waking neigh on mornings wing
A new, a day together we’ll sing.
