Poetry Poem: The Illusion

The world exists as we perceive it.
It is not what you see, but how you see it.
It is not what you hear, but how you understand it.
It is not what you feel, but how you interpret these emotions.
Our organs of perception are impartial and limited.
The mind is limitless, perceive with this greatness.
Make good thoughts, your insights will be joyful.
Perceive through the filter of the heart,
Compassions smile, will grace your lips.
Perceive through the filter of understanding
Peace, will soon settle upon your thoughts.
Perceive through the filter of responsibility
Recognition, will initiate your actions.
It’s in this awakening
It’s in this recognition
It’s in this moment
Stillness remains untouched.
