Spiritual Poetry: The Door

When you arrive at the door
It might’ve taken all the bodies strength
You might have exhausted your intellect
Have your hand firmly on the handle
But that will not suffice
What’s needed still is purity of heart
The oceanic immensity of love
To step across the threshold
To enter the place of god
To immerse yourself in the being of oneness.
This great leap, is but a small step
For a living love to enter.
