Poetry: A Simple Question

I ask a simple question

I hear a simple lie

Why is the box important, when we die?

To be so enchanted

By what we possess

Is all about another place, yet care we less?

The body is of substance, it’s made with blood with bone

Within these halls of glory the spirit makes its home

Spirit, is not substance to be

Moulded bent and trimmed

This is invisible energy which lives within

So in the quiet listen to the silence beneath the mind

For its here a new awareness, we can find

This penetrates my seeing, my hearing too

This sensitizes how I perceive, who are you

As well all else, that fills Gods space

We experience the humanity, in our human race.
