Poetry: The Flute

As lips blow gentle upon this reed of life
We float as notes from that source
Tunes of Love joy and grace
Lift on the breeze in clear skies
Each dancing between the flowers, we weave
We emancipate the self
From selfish
We liberate the I from the “ich”
We free our imagination from restrictions
Becoming the melody we were first blown free to recognize
Sing out
This is who you are
With the nightingales
In tune with skylarks
Sweeping across life in tune with the cosmos.
