Oh my beloved, when you gaze
Eyes fixed on that warm distant star
What you see is not me
It’s beyond that light we recognize
A place brighter, clear more radiant
Let’s reach out then
Plucking this fruit, this cosmic apple from heaven
For alone it, will give us the inspiration to love
Strength to transform
That, what we must do
This, what we have become
To be closer, more authentic, more spiritual.
