Poetry: Madness by Liam
Let my soul spill over into yours
Overwhelming me,
Intoxicating me
Carrying me towards the other you
That one touching the cosmos,
While weaving rainbows into your hair
This beautiful madness whirls me
Away into an ocean vast, flung with spray
Losing the words, the last fleeting glimpse
Of who I thought I was
Washed away gone
Purified by wonder, love and your fragrance
We step, feet awash upon firm sand
Bathed in foam, hand in hand
Love rise’s with the dawn, shining from our eyes
Wings wide we fly, rejoicing to the seagulls cries.
