Poetry Poem: Compassion

Poetry Poem: Compassion

By Liam

Before judgment

I will reflect and place myself in your slippers

I will look through

The lense of your eyes

Seeking the invisible burdens you carry

The troubles which rage through your heart

Joy took too, once sung sweetly from your breast

This moment of compassion

This charity is your gift to me

I have grown, through you,

To know myself a little better.
